Na svetu je 825 sort buc\u030c, a le ena ima semena primerna za bu\u010dno olje. Pri bu\u010dah je namre\u010d pomembno v kak\u0161ni zemlji rastejo, predvsem pa je kvaliteta bu\u010dnih semen odvisna od podnebja, v katerem so vzgajane in kasneje od su\u0161enja bu\u010dnih semen. Pravijo mu tudi bu\u010dno zlato.
